Over the past few months I've been curating a weekly list (well almost) for my newsletter of the media that has resonated - articles, podcasts, books & more. They are curated around what has always driven me, human connection, communities and stories.
Like Tim Ferriss' 5 Bullet Friday but with a million less subscribers and more of a focus. It occurred to me that some of my network would like these in the newsfeed, heading into the weekend and looking for something that will make you think, or feel, differently.
A GetTogether podcast listen,
“When you growth hack with incentives, you erode authenticity” Laura Nestler
“Community is not transactional by nature. Humans seek to connect on a deeper level. They're looking for validation or for support or for something bigger than themselves.” Those that know me well know why I love this.
The Book Belong by Radha Agrawal.
Anna Ryan and I are starting a community book club with the first one discussing this next week. DM me on LinkedIn or Facebook if you'd like to join.
For storytelling, check out Feist's Pleasure Studies series. Profound and thought provoking stories produced well.
A long read: SMH's
'The world's greatest psychological experiment': When the loneliness epidemic met the coronavirus pandemic.
Have a great weekend,
💙 Anna
